Cranbury Design Center specializes in the design, development, delivery and installation of custom home spaces including kitchens, baths, laundry rooms, home entertainment areas and executive suites. Our team of professionals listens thoroughly to understand your lifestyle, unique needs and requirements, as well as your expectations. Only then do we make recommendations on the kitchen, bath or other space designs that will best meet your particular needs. Because we are builders as well as designers, Cranbury Design professionals are confident that what we design can actually be implemented.
How does Cranbury Design help clients get started with their design project?
When it comes to the heart of your home, we begin with its most important component: you. Begin your project by visiting the Cranbury Design Center showroom or website, then arrange a consultation with one of our designers. The process we use for new projects follows:
Step 1: The complimentary initial consultation in your home or in our showroom provides us with an understanding of your needs and preferences, while allowing you the opportunity to become familiar with our capabilities and to review our portfolio of completed projects. This is an excellent opportunity to stimulate ideas, review styles and price options and get to know each other. Upon request, we may leave you with our references. In addition, we will provide a retainer letter to help you understand the next steps.
Step 2: When you are ready to proceed, our designer will arrange a second meeting in your home to take detailed measurements and review your home conditions. The designer will review your “wish list” and gather additional information about your preferences and requirements.
Step 3: Within 7 to 10 days, we will prepare a design proposal. This includes firm pricing for all materials and renovation along with a review of design drawings.
Step 4: Once a contract is signed, we take care of the rest. We provide a licensed, insured construction team, all with a proven track record of reliability and performance. In addition we provide project management to help with all design selections for the project.
Do I need permits?
Cranbury design handles all permit applications for clients. We will work with your township if permits are required and submit them as needed.
How long will it take to complete my project?
The length of each project varies. A detailed project schedule will be prepared for the scope of your project, which clearly identifies all steps in the project and when the project will start and finish.
Will I have a point of contact throughout the design process?
Your point of contact through the design process is the project manager and the head of construction for your project. You will also have access to the cell phone numbers of the managers of your project.
