Before
Many of us would recognize the dated kitchen this client was ready to transform. A small, white square floor tile was the backdrop for the white and brown 1970’s cabinets which hung below a deep ceiling soffit. The white laminate tops and drop-in stainless sink were just screaming for a makeover. The existing window over the sink was functional, but the client wanted to use the area under the soffit to add a larger view.
After
This kitchen renovation makes the “before” kitchen a distant memory. A beautiful three level granite counter space includes a two-tiered island for high seating and serving, and aa attached table area for homework and informal dining. The dark espresso island sits front and center, while cream maple painted cabinetry hugs the perimeter of the kitchen. The mosaic tile under the stainless chimney hood creates a focal point for the subway tiled backsplash. A new arched window provides more natural light to the entire kitchen space. An oil rubbed bronze faucet and new cabinetry hardware complete this beautiful new kitchen and dining space.
